Description

Roasted Duck 2 Mobile & PC Control Guide

Control Scheme

  • Player 1 hops and dodges using the arrow keys.
  • Player 2 handles movement with W, A, S, and D.
  • Both ducks jump over hazards on the same screen at the same time, so watch your own lane.
  • Collecting an egg usually just means walking into it, no extra button needed.
  • Timing your jumps matters more than speed, especially near tight gaps between platforms.

Two ducks, one screen, and a pile of eggs waiting to be scooped up before the level ends — that's the whole pitch here, and it works better than it sounds. This is a side-scrolling platformer built for couch co-op, or couch competition if you and your buddy get petty about who grabs the most eggs. The controls are dead simple, arrows for one player, WASD for the other, which means you can hand a controller-less friend a spot at the same keyboard without any confusion. The obstacles themselves aren't brutal, but they're placed just awkwardly enough that button-mashing your way through a jump usually ends with a duck faceplanting off a ledge. There's a rhythm to it once you settle in, a little hop-skip cadence that rewards paying attention over rushing. It runs fine on a phone screen too, which is a nice touch if you're stuck waiting somewhere and just want a quick round.

Pro-Level Advice

  • Watch the platform edges closely — a lot of falls happen from misjudging how far a jump actually carries you.
  • Don't chase every single egg the second you see it; sometimes waiting a beat for an obstacle to clear is smarter.
  • Keep an eye on your partner's side of the screen too, since bumping into each other near a gap can cost both of you.
  • Short, controlled jumps tend to work better than long leaps of faith over multiple hazards.
  • If you're playing solo, memorize the obstacle pattern for a level before trying to speed through it.
