Two cars, one screen, and a whole lot of shoving on the way to the finish line. That's the pitch here, and honestly it works better than expected. The AI rivals aren't shy about cutting you off, so hoarding your nitro for the last stretch instead of blasting it the moment you unlock it tends to pay off way more often. Sure, it's tempting to mash N the second you see the meter fill, but a well-timed boost coming out of a tight corner will win you more races than an early one ever will. On the open map mode, don't just beeline for the nearest reward icon either — scan around first, because some of those pickups sit clustered together and grabbing three in one loop beats grinding one at a time. Cash from collecting goes straight into the garage, and upgrading your ride's handling before dumping money into top speed usually keeps you from spinning out on the tighter turns later on. Split-screen races against a buddy get scrappy fast, especially since bumping the other car off the road is basically part of the strategy nobody admits to loving.

Control Scheme

• Player 1 steers with the arrow keys, hits nitro on N, and checks behind with B.
• Player 2 drives using WASD, boosts with T, and looks back using C.
• Press R anytime to restart the current level from scratch.
