Minescraftter Two Player Strategy Guide

Score-Boosting Tactics

  • Split up mentally even if you're sitting side by side — Steve should clear the path while Alex trails just behind grabbing animals, not the other way around.
  • Don't burn all your ammo on the first monster you see. Reload whenever there's a lull, because getting caught empty-handed mid-crowd is how runs end early.
  • Alex, don't wander off chasing one stubborn animal while a monster sneaks up from the side. Awareness matters more than greed here.
  • Use the double jump to hop over gaps instead of falling into them and losing precious seconds retracing your steps.
  • Talk through tight spots out loud (or with quick pings if you're not sitting together) — blind pushes into unexplored blocky terrain usually end badly for somebody.

The setup is simple blocky charm: a chunky, Minecraft-flavored world built from squares and stacked terrain, where Steve and Alex have to push forward together toward the end of each stage. Along the way there are animals scattered around that need rescuing, and monsters that very much do not want that to happen. Steve carries a weapon and can shoot down threats before they close the distance, while Alex's job is purely about collection — scooping up every critter without getting cornered. It's a two-player co-op arcade platformer at heart, and the tension between offense and gathering is what keeps it from feeling like a solo game with an extra body attached.

How To Play

  • Move both characters using WASD and Arrow Keys, one set per player.
  • Double jump is available for clearing wider gaps or dodging incoming monsters mid-air.
  • Steve shoots monsters directly in his path and needs to reload once his weapon runs dry.
  • Alex focuses on catching and collecting every animal scattered through the level.
  • Mobile touch controls are supported too, so this isn't locked to keyboard play alone.
